Anyone remember when Mary Ellen's son passes away? The show was like going to mass. It was all tears, hugs, and praying the whole show. Now Bobby Brown's sister passes away, there is barely a mention and when it WAS mentioned....it was so off-hand that it was barely noticeable. I'm disgusted. Of course this was the same episode where they harassed a fugitive about his family and his parent's home, humiliating him over and over - for something he's probably been mortified about since he was a child. Actually that was Beth that did that - at least the guys, Duane Lee and Leland, if they said anything it was under their breath, they showed class.
I was so upset that Bobby lost a sister and they barely mentioned him, no prayers, no hugs, just a mention and maybe a pat on the back. Dog even mentioned it once and walked away mid-sentence. I'm disgusted by that. They work with Bobby all the time - and while they've been life-long friends with Mary Ellen and her family - they've always been friends with Bobby for a long time and worked with him on hundreds of cases. Couldn't they have shown more compassion? A hug? A family prayer? Not a thing. The guys looked uncomfortable. Beth didn't even recognize it outloud, and Dog only mentioned it haphazardly. This show and the family are going downhill FAST.
I know people think I'm a hater - I'm not. But I tell it like it is. And I've watched everyone of these shows since DTBH began. Also, a member of their fan club. But that was also a bust. Paid the money for that, and couldn't access anything - I wrote to every address I could find and never heard back. So I got a t-shirt out of it. Whoo Hoo! (eyeroll)
Something needs to change to have this family show their earlier caring and compassionate selves, the people who worked as a team. Now it's like the whole show is WORK for everyone but Beth and Dog.
Hey Patty, I thought it was just me, re: the so-called fan club~! I refused to pay good hard money to be able to send Dog and Beth a message ~ you have got to be kidding me~ It ACTUALLY COSTS to be a 'member' of his fan club???? What a joke.
Also, I agree with you about the fake compassion

That leopard didn't change his spots.I'd bet that Beth used the N word a few times in her life. I would imagine the rest of them feel the same way or else they get booted. No bone from the Dog.

I brought this up some time ago. I got a response to the effect that bands and such also charge a fee for membership
