    I don't think he retired.He was featured on the show a few months ago saying he was glad to be back working.I think I had read his wife got pregnant by another man so Tim has 4 kiddies to raise on his own and support.

    WTH!I wish I knew what was going on with them! I have been a faithful watcher of this show to the point where people get frustrated with me. I kept watching, not caring what others said. Now, it seems the Chapman "house" is crumbling. Very sad.

    Remember Tim is not a blood relation to Dog and his family but is considered family I guess.

    Tim did get divorced due to infidelity on the part of his wife and he is raising 4 kids. He did come back but I have not seen a new Dog episode in a few months?? Tim was charged with terroristic threat when a cop thought he had pulled down his pants when in fact he was changing his clothes in the back of his van. Charges were dropped.

    Tim Chapman is very much a blood relative to dog. Tim is dog's brother. On the show, there is Duane aka Dog aka Big Daddy,then there is Beth: Dog's wife, Tim: Dog's brother, Leland: Dog's son, Duane Lee: Dog's son, Baby Lyssa: Dog's daughter, Wes: Dog's son, Justin: Dog's nephew. Those are the family members that are actual bounty hunters,or they have at least gone out to help on bounties on the show at one point or another,

    Actually Tim is NOT blood related. Wes is not a bounty hunter.. he actually owns a business doing something like PR work...

    Angel is correct. Even though Tim and Duane share the same last name they are just good friends that go way back and so they call themselves brothers. Dog's son Wes guested a few times on the show and helped during the hunts but he is not a bounty hunter. Also, Justin is not their nephew either. He is the son of Beth's good friend Moon and calls Dog and Beth uncle and auntie. This is a very common practice in Hawaii.

    When Tim was last on the show, it was mentioned that his wife and he were divorced and he was a single father to their four children, from infant up.

    I know that they went through a court battle in regards to a suspected indecent exposure by Tim from which he was acquited.

    I guess his wife could not take the publicity or maybe there was more to their divorce.  I do not know how he is supporting his children, maybe ex-wife is paying child support. 

    I know all his fans miss him on the show.  Hope he will return permantly now that Duane Lee and Leland have left.

    I believe Tim and Davina split before the incident in the car park. And he is able to support his children as he had for years before the show began and still has his own Bail Bonds business in Hawaii. I think it's called Island Bail Bonds.

    I always liked Tim, and missed him when he left the show. But I think it would be in his(and his kids)best interest to stay as far away from Dog and Alice as he can get. They will ruin anything good Tim has going.

    I agree, Tim's best interest is to stay out of the family drama of the Chapman family. While he is not blood related, Dog calls him his brother, which can be confusing - but then he calls every guy brother in some way. And Louise.....Leland and DL are VERY MUCH part of the show. The whole "Leland and DL are leaving - the family is breaking up, blah blah blah" was a scam to draw in viewers for a big "blowup" that never occurred. It was a lie, perpetuated by Beth on her Twitter account over and over to get the "fans" worked up - nothing happened, there was no blowup, and the family is fine. Except for the fact they are all liars.
