Are the Chapman's even speaking out against the publicity of this tape? The airing of this tape on the internet and tv is not in their grandson's best interest. They should be upset. People on Radar this am were outraged from the posts that I saw about Radar posting the audio.

The moment no Chapman family made any statement regarding the audio tape, they lost all credibility. Not one member of the family has made a statement condemning the release or asking for an investigation into how it leaked. Now, people who have listened to the tape are saying it has clearly been altered or dubbed. Can this fame seeking family actually be that desperate for publicity? A&E are you paying attention?

I'm noticing there's been no condemnation either and after all this time that's gone by it will only look like they did so out of pressure now.

Does anyone know if A&E was responsible for the filming? How can I find out for sure? If they are and they approved this exploitation, then I feel action needs to be taken. Chapman family, how low can you sink in the levels of human decency? Is there not anything you will not do for publicity or a dollar? Sorry folks, but this story has pi**ed me off!!

I find it interesting that a person with a tape recorder "just happened" to be near and record this like they were standing next to Travis while he was allegedly beating his son. On the other hand, if this is legit, then I do not understand if Barbara Katie gave Dog custody of Little Travis, why they'd let him go? I understand that they want him to know his father, but......If Travis (Dad) had questionable behavior beforehand, then why let him go? I do, however, believe all children should be with their parent(s) if possible. I love that the Chapman's "credible" fallbacks - RadarOnline and Star Magazine, was the Enquirer not available? LOL. Oh and the cameras, c'mon, who wouldn't EXPECT there to be cameras? They've sold their soul for a dime, my question would be the credibility of the tape - personally it doesn't sound like a spanking or a belt to me. Just my opinion. Wherever Little Travis is, I pray he's OK. Now that he's been ripped from his father, his mother is dead, and he's been paraded on TV talk shows and the tabloids, he'll need some healing time. The Chapman's actions are shameful.

Totally agree. Yes, they alleged that Barbara Katie wanted Dog to take Travis - however, my feeling, she was very young, an addict, and got killed in an accident. When you are that young, with drug addiction, do you make plans like "Take my kid", etc. You think you are immortal at that age, a high speed accident, killed immediately. I just find it very hard to believe this girl had a will or ANYTHING in place for her son. I could be totally wrong, but wouldn't you think that would have been mentioned on the episode where they learned BK had been killed in an accident? Like, "we need to make arrangements for Little Travis ASAP", etc.? Just my opinion. And like I said, we've seen the Chapman's sell their soul for a dime, but who goes to RadarOnline or The Star for REAL news? Everyone knows they pay for their stories, and in every part of this Little Travis debacle, are the words "Star reports".......There is something very fishy with this one. And you are right, I thought the same thing. At his age, kids hear stuff, he will walk into a classroom after being an exploitation pawn for Dog and Beth, and the kids will know. He will have no anonymity. BTW, I could be totally wrong about BK being an active drug addict, but I thought I remembered both reading it (in the regular news LOL) and hearing Dog saying she has been fighting those demons they've all fought at one time or another. Just a note, the Chapmans may have a "relationship" with The Star because remember the magazine posted a pic of Beth (photo shopped) in a bathing suit as one of the "Sexiest Reality Stars"......

He's had a hard life. He's gone from mom to grandpa to dad and now back to grandpa and he's only 9. He's lost his mom to drug addiction and a horrible accident, been abused and lost his dad and is now with grandpa being spotlighted and exploited in the media through audio and video.
