you're 62 years old...i know it'll be had but you can do it. if you truly love shannon and i think you do, you've gotta retire old guy--at least as a rocker. why put yourself in harm's way just to feed your ever growing ego.

Gene didn't HAVE to marry her...he's a very wealthy and successful man... I'm sure he can't be bullied, he loves her very much, heck he loves her so much he could afford to buy up a. Entire town and name the businesses after her....and make it very special..... The way she likes it.... you know what else?  I thought their wedding was absolutely beautiful and I thought Shannon looked so radiant and glowing with happiness and the family was so happy too.  And then there was the groom looking every bit happy and proud and fulfilled I just thought they could have used more flowers at the ceremony...but that's just my opinion. :))  I would have liked to have seen big huge white lilly bunches on each of the aisles , something big and celebratory and I didn't see any reception footage but I would again think something dripping in flowers because Shannon seems very feminine and sweet and I would love to see dancing all night long!  I can just see Shannon and Gene wanting to party the entire weekend...an then!  get to start their new life together and an exciting life, I know they have.
