Neglected as a child by her alcoholic mother, Dorothy is now lost in a haze of drugs, alcohol, and self-inflicted cuts and burns. Ivan was once a rising rap star who got caught up in the "thug life" and PCP addiction. Both need interventions to reclaim the promise of their youth and talent.

Is there any possible way I can get further information on Ivan regarding his music? I have been almost desperate to find him featured in any artist's songs or maybe unreleased material. Someone help. Is his name well known and I am overlooking him? Hip hop purist speaking and this man right here is a jewel and has so much heart. Thanks please let me know

One thing really bothered me - Ivan made the claim that PCP is used to preserve dead people's bodies.... this is a common misconception due to its nickname "embalming fluid" - named such due to PCP's dissociative effects. PCP is not an embalming fluid. I was disappointed they not only didn't correct this mistake, but highlighted it, making the viewer believe it was a valid statement.

It is incredible what people come up with from watching about 20 minutes of a family's life that was sequenced for television. Just FYI: Dorothy is still sober by the grace of God.

Sadly Ivan relapsed. Addiction is serious business. It doesn't give you the right to judge others. I pray that each and every one of you will have all good things that I would wish for myself and for my family. God bless you all. And remember . . . Only God can judge.
