You may have something,
Can you tell where I stand on this?! Breddgal, your thoughts mirror mine as to Callie and Jeff moving in with Jim; it just makes all kind of sense for all the reasons you point out....and I LOVE Jim's house, there would be much happiness there. And Jeff already has his own keys to the house, lol. But I hadn't thought of Miranda being an agent/ally in getting Callie back to Florida-like your thinking on this. It could work, and would be a nice plot element. And though I know we were supposed to hate her, I actually understood the role of Miranda and really enjoyed the actors' portrayal of the evolution of her thinking about Callie and their budding friendship. So I would love to see her stay in for a while because she, unlike another who shall remain nameless, CAN act. Love your thinking on this!

Yesssss.......I'd much rather watch J/C/J working through the intricacies of becoming a family unit as the background of Jim's ingenious case solving than watch him chase different T&A every week. What richness could be added with new friends and family introduced rather than just referenced. That would leave the writers free to make the cases more interesting and less formulaic. Let's have a bit of variance in the "3 suspects, 2 interrogations, 1 red herring" and "It wasn't me, detective" and the i-room door opening and Colleen/Carlos/Daniel saying "Jim, you need to see this!" This GREATensemble cast is capable of so much more, and I think I read somewhere that Jim having to talk so much in each epi must be quite a load for Matt. But I digress....yes, contourguy your insight that selling the house would be best,as well as providing the solution to her tuition problem is dead on. Good point. The writers did good in making it so serious a plumbing problem that a decision has to be made. And thanks for the good wishes; I'll give it my best shot!
