I really enjoy watching Storage Wars.  I think it's really sad that this new guy, "Mark" feels it necessary to buy a spot on the show by showing up with huge piles of money to make himself look like some "player".  He comes across as a jerk who wants to make a name for himself and seems to think the way to do it is to purchase a spot on the show.  Mark, take your money and make your own show and leave this show and it's people for us to enjoy. 

I have been watching Storage Wars ever since day one and have always loved it. MY wife and I never miss an episode. BUT after watching the past three episodes, I have just about had enough! I am ready to quit watching the show for good, all because the producers thought it would be a good idea to bring somebody like this Mark onto the show!

After just watching the 3rd time that Storage Wars allowed this clown, Mark, to be on the show, I couldn't stand it any longer and decided to come online to voice my opinion. So, for the first time ever, I created an account with AETV just so I could let the producers of this show know something.... Having this goofball Mark on the show is ruining it! And, even before I made my posting here, I read the message boards and time and time again, posters have voiced their opinions about how much they hate having this Mark character on the show!

Do the producers of this show never read their message boards? Do they not care what their fans even like? Well, its about time they started caring because I have never hated someone coming onto a show I liked more than this Mark character!!! And now, a show that I loved and watched all the time, I am going to have to walk away from if the producers do not start listening to the fans! I cannot watch a show that makes me so mad watching it that I literally get upset. And that is what having this Mark clown on this show is doing to me. And from the looks of it, I am not alone!

So, producers of Storage Wars, what's it going to be? Listen to, and care about, your fans? Or drive your show into the ground by running off a loyal fanbase??? The final decision is up to you.

Okay, I'll give you an A for effort. I can see that you do not want to come across as a "bad guy", so riddle me this... #1) Why let yourself be "portrayed" as one on the show? Oh, wait..... let me guess. You just wanted your 15 min. of fame and some easy cash...... Good enough, people do it all the time, however, you must be willing to take the good with the bad my dear. Price of "fame" and all that.... = 0 #2 Or would you say that you did NOT know that the producers were planning to portray you in this light? If that is the case, it puzzles me that you would consent to be on the show in the future...... Unless of course your desire for a brush with fame outweighs your distaste for being the "bad guy". In which case I would refer you back to my previous point of taking the good with the bad....... Hmmmmm. It seems we have come to an impasse. As far as the "haters" needing to realize that this is just a tv show, from what Ive read on this site Im pretty sure that most people take it as just that. Entertainment. They are just not "entertained" by how you are "portrayed". Have a wonderful day!

My wife and I are obsessed with this show and agree that the new guy has GOT TO GO!  I'm going to try not to make this personal, but I'm not sure I'll be able to do that 100%.  I don't know why the others do and Mark doesn't, but he just doesn't fit on the show, and if it ain't broke, don't fix it.  The producers of this show have REALLY found the perfect group of people to be on the show and I'm certain they will lose viewers if they keep bringing Mark back.  I recently tried watching Pawn Stars and was bored out of my mind after a couple episodes, and I literally had to turn off Auction Hunters (or whatever the History Channel's rip off of this is called) after 5 minutes because it was SO low budget with SUCH obnoxious people; you could just tell right away that they were trying to copy Storage Wars and nothing more, and that they weren't even willing to put the minimal amount of effort into it.

I think why Mark doesn't fit is because of what someone said a few posts above mine; EVERYTHING he does is flashy and screams for the spotlight, whereas most of the other characters are actually trying to earn a living--sure, Barry's not, but he at least treats everyone and everything with respect and a certain level of seriousness.  I think Barry probably has more money than everyone else on the show combined (including Mark), but you don't see him getting in our faces trying to prove something.  Mark should go ahead and try to get on Auction Hunters--it'll be just as, if not easier, to get on and I think he'll blend in perfectly on that show.
