    Operation Hobo

     

    Follow four professional buyers and their teams as they scour repossessed storage units in search of hidden treasure. Part gamblers, part detectives, these auction pros have found everything from coffins to the world's most valuable comic book collection, paying as little as ten dollars for items valued in the millions.

  • Barry's Electro Machine...

    Now this is weird. I found one of those electro machines for "nerves" at a garage sale in Tucson, Arizona, about 50 years ago - it could even be the same one. (In those days, I was buying and selling to finance my undergrad studies at the University of Arizona. Son of a gun. That really takes me back. 8-)

    Wait, Dave got three bikes.....yet no mention is made if he made a profit, lost money, or even encountered a problem with the DMV. Guys, were you too engrossed in filming Barry's annoying and pointless antics to not even give us a little Dave bashing fodder?

    I was wondering about those bikes myself. I wonder why they didn't follow up on those?
    I don't like Nabilla either but calling her repulsive is a bit over the top IMO. Glad to have Jarrod and Brandi back, I was starting to wonder where the hell they were.

  • Daryl? Nabilla?

     Daryl, are you really that dumb?  Wow! I also wondered what happened with the bikes and Dave Hester.  I missed Brandi and Jared the last couple of shows.  I was glad to see them back.  Nabilla seems like she might be Hester's girlfriend.  Just a hunch.  I wonder if he talked them into letting her onto the show when the others needed a break.  They are just a little bit too chummy.   Still love watching the show, but I wonder if these lockers are set up some days.

    I wasn't amused with Barry's antics last night because I had spent all week at the hospital with my father who had to be on oxygen and had to leave the hospital with oxygen. To me, this is devastating.
    I gave Nabila a chance but I'm not liking her. She's territorial, and it seems the costs for lockers has been a lot higher since she started being featured. Yet she manages to get lockers for cheap. I don't understand what that crap was about it being her neighborhood so she has more rights than they do.And I agree that there might be something going on between Dave and Nabila. He seemed protective of her in a way. She looks at him with respect and as a contemporary. And during the bidding on one locker last night, I could have sworn they were working together against Darryl. Like it was planned. She started the bidding and ran it up, then as soon as Dave started bidding, she dropped out, and let him take the lead.

    Why at the end of the Episode they doesn't show Dave Hester profit for the bikes.

  • Barry The Bum

    Once again Barry has proven himself to be a master strategist. His hobo disguise kept all of his competitors off balance and confused. Because of this he was able to sneak in under the radar and make a tidy little profit on the unit that he won.

    -Darrel who forgot to bid, hehe.-Jarrod and Brandi!! -The Hobo mission, was really succesfull. :) Barry's so funny. -Dave and his trucks. That was so coooool. The bads:-Why didn't we have a comeback of the bikes of Dave?? -Hmm. I want more episodes. :)MOOOORE!!! <3<3<3

    It would be great to see more Tiki related stuff on the show. I think that a lot of people would enjoy seeing more Bamboo Ben , Oceanic Arts and any other Tiki stuff that you can come up with. I am a fan of the show and I'll be anxiously watching and waiting. Did I mention MORE TIKI STUFF!

    How can someone not love Barry? That was so cute & calling it "Operation..." was even better! Laura saying, "Excuse me, sir,,," made it great because she didn't recognize Barry. Barry really makes the show. A while back when Barry said, "Can I get between the Sheets?" to Darryl & his son, I was 100% sold!

    Because thru the show, he's turned from the loveable uncle you'd want to play with to the Rich Idiot with No Day Job trope. The turning point has to be when Barry was throwing stuff and destroying it while Jarrod and Brandi watched. IIRC, he managed to get humbled when he was unable to sell power tools he salvaged from the locker and sold it at a huge loss to.....Jarrod and Brandi.

  • Bamboo Ben

    I loved this episode of Storage Wars... mainly because Bamboo Ben was in it!! I love tiki and think it would be awesome to have more kitsch and tiki on this show... or a show with kitsch and tiki in it. Bamboo Ben is really cool and knows a lot about tiki... would LOVE to see him in more work like this! He would be a great show host!
