There has been some speculation of what Lloyd really did to get 25 years in prison, Shea most recently brought it up again in Episode 4.
I thought about a couple reasons;
The first is kind of boring in the sense of entertainment but is practical. Possibly he lived in a state that employs the 3 strikes your out rule and he simply comitted 3 strikes, burglary for example, and thus resulted in his 25 year sentence.
Another one is possibly he fixed the lottery or some type of money scheme in that sense such as counterfeit, fraud, identity theft - all in there severe cases obviously. I'm not sure how this would add up to 25 years but I think they go along with his gambling addiction.
Also maybe something related to his psychology doctorate, some type of fraud related crime there too - falsfying reports for cash compensation maybe?
The last one I thought of may be more comical but in a way applicable; maybe he tried to kill his mother? Haha, on a rare occasion I think attempted murder may result in 25 but I doubt it. Maybe he pays so much attention to his mom in the show that it some how has to be related? Not sure!
What do you guys think he did to get 25 years?
I have thought about the mother one and that one is probably not valid at all, they wouldn't put someone with an attempted murder charge on a team that gets a work release.
Something else I thought of though that is related to fraud is the Ponzi scheme; it seems that the sentencing
BTW he's my favorite chracter. I hate to admit it but I am utterly charmed. He's so awkward, funny, brilliant & I love his insight into people!
I think he did something to match that high IQ of his, fraud, conterfeit, something creative and brilliant that he caught at, prolly cuz he is (gambling) addict.
I seriously doubt he did anything violent, not in his nature. He love/hates his mom, he's still attached to her breast, so to speak.
He'll prolly have to out grow that in the world he finds himself now. Glad he gets to exercise his biggest muscle, say intelligent things at inappropiate times & read people.
I really love all the characters, it's my new favorite show (BIG Criminal Minds fan). I wouldn't change a thing about it. Plots are interesting, i already think of cast as family to each other, tho they're working on it. It' funny as hell, it's not predicatable. Can't wait for new ep.
Love ya Dr. Lowery (it's creepy, I know!) Love ya, Jimmi:)
