  • The Weapons they use

I understood that dog is a convicted felon.  How is he able to carry that gun?  Yes its just a mace gun, But a gun nonetheless. Hawaii is still in the United States and it is illegal for a convicted felon to carry a firearm in the US. A CO2 gun is still considered a lethal weapon by law.  Not knocking what he does, my husband does the same thing. Does he have special rules? Has anyone seen his certification in CO2??  Just wanted to know

Actually, they could be lethal if the person they happen to spray (or shoot) is allergic. It happens. . .

You mean to say that Leland and Duane lee are felons too? never heard Duane lee was a felon. Not ever. Do you know what you are talking about or just spilling words. Prove what you say.

  • Do your research before you try and sound smart

They use pepper ball guns. They are not lethal and all they will do is put you on ur a**.
In order to own one you half to be with any kind of law enforcement security or a bounty hunter! There are mandatory training requirements and you will half to be approved by pepper ball technologies before you are even able to make the purchase! I am a fugitive recovery agent and I use the pepper ball guns myself. Its a lot better than using a real firearm and shooting someone over a stupid crime all because they want to be stupid! When you make the arrest and make that area just a little bit safer each time you get this feeling of achievement but when you half to shoot them or kill them they are getting what they want and not justice and you will half to live with the fact that you have killed someone! So do your research before you start making accusations

Being a bounty hunter really isn't that dangerous. I've seen plenty of them who don't carry any protection, and plenty of them that carry tasers. But nevertheless, you're right. The guns they carry around are airsoft, and completely legal. I had airsoft guns as a kid, so really they're just walking around with toys, not lethal weapons.

Leland had convictions from when he was younger and cannot carry a gun. DL had already left the family business when Beth and BL went for gun certification.

  • Re: The Weapons they use

That is a PAINT BALL MARKER it is not a gun. A gun is a FIREARM , ie something that uses gunpowder... A paintball marker, BB gun, pellet gun, air rifle, etc is NOT a firearm. The law doesnt prohibit felons from owning "guns" it prohibits the posession of FIREARMS. Paintball markers are toys, not weapons... He happens to be shooting cute little pepper balls from a paintball marker.

By the way Nxtgen, those pepper balls are NOT as effective as they would like you to think they are. If someone shot me with a pepper ball it would not put me down... Everyone who goes through military basic, a police academy, etc is sprayed and learns to ignore it and keep going... You might be in for a real surprise if you try using that on someone who was a vet, or who did real time and have been through a few cell extractions, etc. Regarding your comments about "having to live with killing someone" - if thats a concern for you find another job. I've had to shoot plenty of people on the Cut Line, on township duty during apartheid, and working with a PMC in Sierra Leone and it never bothered me. If they want to be stupid thats their problem not mine. I looked at it as flushing the gene pool.

Im more concerned with the body armor they wear. That should NOT be allowed. It is against federal law 18 USC 931 for a violent felon to posess body armor. In Texas him being in posession of body armor is a felony 3rd under Texas Penal Code 46.041. I assume the armor isnt "real" and is just a costume with inert "stuffing" because if he has the ceramic plates and Kevlar panels in it - then hes committing crimes at both the Federal and state level...

I can understand your feelings about havine to live with feelings about killing someone after the war or a military action...but, some guys I've talked to, vets, don't want to talk about is - for the most part...do you find this to be true for your friends? Vets, I mean...or do you pretty much think it's o.k. for everyone to talk about what they've been through in a pretty open way?

Of course I understand there are a lot of different kinds of Vets, with different feelings and personalities, overall though, I would think you'd all share feelings of comrarderie and just be very proud for what you accomplished for the US and others safety!

Sweetie - "vets" vary. They are not a homogenous group. It also depends on the country, the branch, the conflict etc... As a general rule - vets of the South African Defense Force have absolutely NO shame or remorse over what we did. The Border War / Angolan Bush War was the containment of communism. It was "our Vietnam" and we won it... It took almost 30 years but WE WON and are damn proud of it. The township uprisings Im also proud of. Like it or not, Apartheid was the law, and we upheld the law and we ended Apartheid on our terms not the communists terms. So the SADF vets arent "remorseful" on the American side - it seems that the lower level enlisted seem to have some reservations about the things they did in Iraq and I dont understand that. I also served in the US military, and I have no reservations about it. I have never seen a fellow officer who had reservations or remorse either. It was above our paygrade to determine right or wrong... Thats for the elected. To be frank, if George Bush had ordered me to drop nuclear weapons and kill every man woman child and camel in Iraq because he didnt like Saddams moustache or he caught him peeking up Jenna's skirt thats reason enough for me. I would roar off into the night and do what I was ordered because I was there to carry out policy not to make it.

I really disliked the fugitive on the premiere. He talked to much and was the creepiest of those they have arrested to date. He also seemed "hard" like he belongs in the penitentiary. He was disgusting and said, "I never do nothing." What the hell does that mean? And, "Get me the chief of police." Like the police chief would rush down to see the creep. At least the drug addicts have redeeming qualities.  Amd for the "weapons they use." they never portrayed them to be anything than what they are.  They had a portion of an episode explainng why they got them, and showing them learning to use them.

Kev, I'm not disagreeing with you or telling you that what the military does is right or wrong, I'm also not saying that you should or should not talk about it...I'm just saying that there are SOME Vets I've met who do not want to talk about their experiences...I for one would be the type to be proud of my service to my country and I wouldn't be shy to talk about it.

Also, Leland's felonies consist of a teenager stealing his mother's car, and attempting to detain Andrew Lauder in Mexico. Duane Lee, Baby Lyssa and Beth don't have felonies.

I believe all charges regarding th Andrew Luster case were dropped and Leland's record, like all juveniles, is vacated upon reaching adulthood. Also, Leland has stated that he ownes a gun and has trained at the FBI weapon's training center at least twice that I know of. All this suggests he is not a felon like his father and stepmother and can carry a weapon if he ever wanted to.
