    tillie, i know you are right, but there's still some small points i worry about. should i call animal control? i can't imagine letting him leave w/ a 13 yr old cat (how has it survived this long?). i cant keep it because i already have 3 cats. my other question is how to keep tensions down. the roommate in question is very passive and non confrontational, but has exhibited to me the classic irrational thinking process's i have seen time and again from watching the show, ie excuse making, blames the cat

    Beyond Scared Straight is NOT a "physical fitness program" . It is not "sweating with the convicts".... The purpose of the show is to show teenagers what lays ahead for them if they are incarcerated.
